Destination: Traverse City, Michigan
People don’t notice whether it is winter or summer when they’re happy. ~Anton Chekhov
Our hotel had a Jacuzzi tub in it. That is always something we enjoy having, after a long day of traveling. In this case, it was a very long drive (approx. 8 hours). So having a nice hot soak was well worth the added cost.
We had a wonderful time in Traverse City. We made a stop at the State Theater one night (because theaters and festivals are some of our favorite things). It was an older movie, but we didn’t mind. It is the atmosphere we enjoyed.
SOOOO excited! We found this lil shop that specializes in spices… and they have the ghost pepper sauce! WHOOOT! I can’t WAIT to get mine in the mail! (they were out of stock!)
We stopped in at Dillinger’s Pub for a drink. Their menu was quite entertaining. They had a “gang of burgers” called Public Enemy #1, Baby Face Nelson, and Pretty Boy Floyd.
We also went to the beach, and although it was quite chilly, we had a wonderful time.
Great memories, good times, and lots of laughs. Looking forward to going again sometime, and visiting Mackinac Island. We just ran out of time. 🙂
Until our next adventure~
